1. She was Born in Mississippi in 1954
2. When the schools in New Orleans had to intergrate Ruby had to take a test to see if she could go to the former all white school.
3. Her father didn't want her to go to that school because he thought it was just "asking for trouble".
4. On her first day Ruby didn't even get to her classroom.
